Initiative for a Free Palestine
The Initiative for a Free Palestine is a Croatian civic, activist initiative and a broader social movement that advocates for the rights of Palestinians, and it emerged as a reaction to the policies of the State of Israel. The initiative is most active in organizing protests, protest actions, and solidarity gatherings, primarily in Zagreb and Rijeka, and it intensified its activities following the escalation of the conflict in Gaza in October 2023.

Taste of Home
The mission of Taste of Home is the economic emancipation of refugees and migrants through culinary and cultural exchange. The Taste of Home collective is guided by values of respect for human beings and their needs. Taste of Home brings together people in search of happiness and safety who share a part of themselves – memories of the flavors of their childhood and youth, as well as the tastes of growing up in a new society. Our flavors are flavors of memory and memories of flavor, rooted in the kitchens and traditions of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Arab world.
